Philip Shaw The Conductor Merlot has a lively palate that tastes of cassis, dark & red plums, cedar, dries herbs, roast meats & carries a backbone of savoury tannins. Winery Notes: Merlot is well suited to the cool climate conditions of the Orange region, producing consistent crops of high quality fruit from the Koomooloo vineyard. The Conductor wears a medium colour with bright red hue and smells of rich clear berry fruits. Aromatics are complex and layered with strong varietal character with just a hint of vanilla from aged barrels.This 100% merlot is mouth filling and bright supported by fine tannins.Alcohol Volume: 13.50%
